Dacia has released images of its new Logan sedan and the Sandero hatchback models ahead of their world debuts at next week's Paris motor show. The new Sandero and Logan feature design cues intended to give a more assertive look, in line with the hugely popular Duster. Mercedes-Benz reveals Vision Golf Car concept

Mercedes-Benz has revealed a concept of what it bills as the “ultimate golf cart” as part of activities at this year's British Open at the Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland. The concept was created at Mercedes-Benz's advanced design studio in California using ideas submitted by golf fans in a competition held by the German car maker. The swoopy two-seater adopts a number of design cues from current Mercedes-Benz models along with a doorless, one-box profile to give it a contemporary appearance that transcends traditional golf cart design.

Smart's $99 loan deal has big balloon payment at end

Hoping to benefit from the federal cash-for-guzzlers program, Smart USA has set up a $99 monthly payment for buyers who use their $4,500 rebate. But there's a catch--and a hefty balloon payment disclosed only as a note to an asterisk in Smart's press information announcing the offer. The Smart financing is for $99 a month for 36 months, with a balloon payment of $6,667 due at the end.
